Victor Moses Dislocates Shoulder

Wigan Athletic youngster Victor Moses is facing time on the side lines after dislocating his shoulder in the Carling Cup defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

Challenged robustly from behind by Arsenal players Eboue and Walcott, Moses fell heavily and landed with his arm stretched out causing his shoulder to dislocate.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed the injury, Martinez said: 'He has dislocated his shoulder and is in hospital now'

'We will have to assess how he is feeling and we need to look at the extent of the whole injury.'

Just don't have any luck at the moment, do we. He's one of our most inspirational players - don't fancy our chances against Stoke City now IMO. We'll just have to see what happens - if we could get something from that game, i'll be over the moon. A win would be fabulous but I just don't see it happening.

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
