Hendry Thomas Latics Man of the Match

Hendry Thomas Latics Man of the Match

Wigan Athletic midfield man Hendry Thomas has been voted the Vital Latics man of the match for his performance in last Saturday`s 2-2 draw against Stoke City at the DW Stadium despite the fact that the Honduras international made quite possibly the miss of the season.

Thomas, who has been having an excellent season, carried on his good form of late with a great defensive midfield display, sitting in front of the back four, breaking up Stoke attacks with some excellent tackles and refusing to be intimidated by the Potters physical style.

I won`t mention the miss, just in case Thomas comes looking for me. For the record the voting was:

Hendry Thomas - 34%
Antolin Alcaraz - 25%
Tom Cleverley - 14%
