Hendry Thomas - Latics Player of the Month

Hendry Thomas - Latics Player of the Month

Hendry Thomas has been voted the Wigan Athletic player of the month for November by pollsters on Vital Latics.

Thomas has had a very good start to the current campaign in his defensive midfield role and has appeared in every game since the season`s opener against Blackpool, making 15 Premier League starts and one substitute appearance

In November Thomas started all five league games and the Carling Cup game at Arsenal, during the month he was comfortably the most consistent Latics player, strong and imposing in front of the back four and had starring roles against both Liverpool and WBA, well deserved player of the month accolade.

For the record the voting was:

Hendry Thomas - 43%
Charles N`Zogbia - 22%
Ali Al-Habsi - 11%
