Latics Recieve Good News On Tom Cleverley

Wigan Athletic have received some good news with regards to the injury sustained by Tom Cleverley in last weekends game at Everton.

It was thought that the young midfield man had cracked a rib but following x-rays and a scan it has been deduced that Cleverley suffered bruising rather than a crack or break, so rather than being sidelined for up to six weeks Latics boss Roberto Martinez is saying that he is in contention for Saturday`s game against Aston Villa at the DW Stadium.

Speaking to Latics Player Martinez said: "We had very good news, we had the x-ray and there was no fracture.

"It`s only a bruised rib but obviously still quite sore and quite painful"

"We hope that Tom will react to the treatment and at the end of the week we will assess him"

"Hopefully he will be in contention (for the Villa game)"

Good news if he is fit to play
worbo
its getting that you cant believe anything you read on here.more lies than the news of the world.
johnney handsome
Eh ? I like that the front page news seems quite positive at the moment !
Thorpyness
? Dont understand johnney?
worbo
well thats 2 or 3 times lately that wigan players have mase miraculous recovery from bad injurys.they either have these injurys or they dont.these reports of injurys are just messing with the fans heads.
johnney handsome
look down the page a bit in big writing TOM CLEVERLEY CRACKED RIB ENDS LATICS LOAN.turned out to be a lie.
johnney handsome
it actually says Tom cleverly cracked rid ends latics loan? with a question mark, it does actually make a hug difference and if you read it then you would find out it is only speculation
wigan-latics
Both articles are info direct from Latics, 2nd article actually says not as bad as first feared, which was that it was a broken rib...
worbo
good news :)
wn1
wigan-latics its a bit like most things on here speculation as you call it rumour mongering or lies as i call it.
johnney handsome
also the question mark at the end does not make it a question,a question starts with why, what, where etc. it doesnt start with someones name. so i suggest you read up on the english language
johnney handsome
The title would have read...Tom Cleverley, Will His Cracked Rib End Latics Loan?....Unfortunately I am only allowed to use a limmited number of characters in the title...also johnney I dont rumour monger or lie, the purpose of this site that I run is to provide Latics fans with as much info as possible about the club, players, games etc, where possible I use info that I can get direct from the club, with whom this site has an excellent relationship, but I do use 'other' sources, nothing is made up as you suggest, questions can also start with many different words, wouldnt you agree?
worbo
no i wouldnt agree a question has to be asked not suggested.you are taking this as a personal attack on you which it is not .the club should be giving you correct information and not guesswork.i didnt suggest that anything was made up,the headline was attention seeking.dont take this personally worbo because i dont know who runs this site or where the information comes from.this site is based on rumours and most people on here take part in them.
johnney handsome
If you think I am taking this personally then you really dont know me, I am trying to show that the reason the title was written the way it was is that I have a limmited number of characters to use, thats all, no offence taken, also just making the point that I dont make things up, I always use info that comes my way via a variety of sources...all headlines are attention seeking, thats the purpose of a headline...so no offence taken at all, trouble with text is there is no emotion or emphasis to guage the tone, I always write lighthearted and I'd tell you directly if you'd have offended me
worbo
ok worbo no problem.
