Lawro Predicts - Latics v Villa

Lawro Predicts - Latics v Villa

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that Saturday`s Premier League game between Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa at the DW Stadium will end in an away win for Villa, let`s see what his reasons are:

Wigan v Aston Villa

Villa boss Gerard Houllier has been under a bit of pressure recently so it was a big win for them last week against West Brom, although they were a little bit lucky to come away with three points.

Wigan were battered in their draw at Everton last week but could actually have nicked it at the end themselves.

Villa's form is still not great but at least they got a win under their belts after a five-game run without a victory, and I think they will build on that at the DW Stadium.

Prediction: 1-2

Almost feel relieved that that Lawro is once again picking us to lose this weekend, for me, 2-1 Latics win

Villa to sway it 2-1 or a 1-1 draw. Wigans defence wont cope with Gabi, Young, Downing and Albrighton.

2-0 Villa. We cant keep allowing this run of poor away performances/results to keep slapping us in the face. Can we?

Lawro's good for a laugh with his predictions. In Lawro's table for the season to date (going by his predictions), Liverpool are fifth, West Ham are ninth and Blackpool are rock bottom with just eight points.
