Lawro Predicts - Wolves v Latics

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the Boxing Day Premier League clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic at Molineux will end in a home win for Wolves, let`s see what his reasons are:

Wolves v Wigan

Wolves showed great spirit to beat Birmingham last week and they might have one or two more players coming back from injury now to help them here.

They will know that this game is winnable and I think if you get into Wigan and make them hurry, then you beat them. Wolves are a side that can do that.

I don't fancy Wigan much here but they have still surprised me a little bit this season. They are in the bottom three but at times they have still done better than I thought they would.

Prediction: 2-0

Interesting that he says the Latics do surprise him, well I think they will surprise him again this week. 2-1 Latics win for me.
