Steve Gohouri Wins Man of the Match Award

Steve Gohouri was voted the Wigan Athletic man of the match for his performance in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Wednesday at the DW Stadium by Vital Latics pollsters.

The Ivory Coast international had a great game at left back and his runs up and down the flank were inspiring to say the least, on 80 minutes he was switched to right back when Maynor Figueroa replaced Ronnie Stam, but that made no difference to his performance has his last 10 minutes were just as good as the previous 80.

Well done Stevie G.

For the record the voting was:

Steve Gohouri - 34%
Ali Al-Habsi - 33%
Ronnie Stam - 9%

I must say he looks pretty evil with that new hair style. It would be a very imposing sight when hes running at you down the wing.
