Lawro Predicts - Bolton v Latics

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his midweek round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that this Wednesday`s Premier League clash between Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic at the Reebok Stadium will end in a home win for Bolton, let`s see what his reasons are:

Bolton v Wigan

Worryingly for Wigan, apart from Steven Caldwell at the back, they are a little soft and that is sure to get tested at the Reebok Stadium. I'm not convinced Wigan will be able to cope with strike pair Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander.

Bolton know their strengths and weaknesses and have added some more guile to their play under Owen Coyle, who has really improved the team. They are now playing more progressively and are also very strong at home.

Prediction: 2-0

Well seeing that Steven Caldwell isn`t playing at the moment, Lawro, I guess that`s why he doesn`t look too soft? I am hoping that last Sundays game against Newcastle was just a blip and that we can come out all guns blazing, hate to admit it, Bolton are a good side, so here`s hoping for a draw, 1-1
