Latics Fishing For Conor Sammon?

Wigan Athletic are being linked with a last minute move for Kilmarnock striker Conor Sammon who is also attracting interest from Derby County, Scunthorpe United and Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers.

Sammon joined Kilmarnock from Derry City in 2008 and the 6 foot 2 inch striker has a goal scoring record of 24 goals in 64 games

With the interest shown from other clubs it looks like the Latics have sneaked in at the last minute in an attempt to poach Sammon

Hmmmmm. If he just knocks the ball in the net, something we have failed to do enough, then he'll be a good buy.
