Wigan Athletic - Routledge Leaves For Hamilton
Wigan Athletic youngster Jon Routledge has joined SPL side Hamilton Academicals on a free transfer.
The midfield man spent the first part of the season on loan at New Douglas Park and made a big impression with Accies manager Billy Reid who was desperate to keep the youngster till the end of the season at least.
Routledge had his contract with the Latics cancelled on Monday allowing him to join Hamilton on a permanent deal.
Speaking about his new signing Hamilton boss Billy Reid says: 'Jon did well for me in the first part of the season and I think he really liked it here, both in Scotland and as part of our squad, so I'm delighted he is back.'
