N'Zogbia Committed To The Latics

Wigan Athletic star Charles N`Zogbia has dismissed speculation about his future and the constant talk about any offers that were made during the January window, insisting that he is fully focused, and committed to helping the Latics win their battle against relegation.

Speaking to French sports magazine L`Equipe, N`Zogbia said that he didn`t want to discuss his future and he made the point of saying that he had no intention of moving during January and he is hoping to get back in the French national team.

N`Zogbia said: 'To me it is over'

'I don't want to hear anymore about the January transfer market. I told people who called me that I would not move.

'I just want to do everything to help Wigan survive and find again Les Bleus as soon as possible.'

I think it's like the Valencia situation - they've told Charlie, and probably Hugo, to give it their all till the end of the season and then they can leave. Which is why there were no rumours about them in January - the agents knew the score so no point stirring anything up.

Dan's Big Game Report - Burton 0 Latics 2

Alright, so despite the hammyteur Twitter meteorologists' predictions, it never did snow in Burton upon Trent today.

But on Friday morning, the Met Office (presumably a wild new joint venture of the Metro newspaper and the Post Office) issued 'yellow warnings' of ice in Staffordshire. From this we can only assume that the county`s dog walkers embarked upon an unprecedented mass figure skating session producing gold medals you certainly don't want in your hands.

Oh, disregard
