Lawro Predicts - Liverpool v Latics


Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that Saturday`s Premier League clash between Liverpool and Wigan Athletic at Anfield will end in a home win for his beloved 'Reds`, let`s see what his reasons are:

Liverpool v Wigan

Wigan won one of the games of the week last Saturday when they edged out Blackburn but the other Premier League scores that day meant they did not really get the credit they deserved.

For Liverpool to win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday was an outstanding result and performance.

Their manager Kenny Dalglish has now used virtually all of his squad so all his players have had a chance to show what they can do, and by doing that he has increased competition. Dalglish is keeping everybody guessing by playing with three centre-backs on occasion, so nobody is really sure who is going to start.

Confidence is sky-high at Anfield and this might be the right game for Luis Suarez to make his full debut.

Prediction: 2-0


Well just for the heck of it I will disagree, Liverpool might be in some form but I think that we will have a surprise or two up our sleeves this Saturday and I honestly believe we will get a point at least, 1-1.
