Ben Watson Man of the Match v Man United

Ben Watson Man of the Match v Man United

Ben Watson was voted the Wigan Athletic man of the match for his performance against Manchester United in the Saturdays Premier League clash at the DW Stadium by pollsters on Vital Latics

Watson had arguably his best game of the season playing the anchor man role, his distribution was very good and he played with quite a bit of energy which was good to see

For the record the voting was:

Ben Watson - 38%
Ali Al-Habsi - 30%
Victor Moses - 22%

The new poll is now available on the right of this page and it`s the Player of the Month for February vote, to participate simply access the poll, select your option and then hit the submit button, it`s that easy.

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
