Martinez Reveals Early Team News

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that the only injury doubt ahead of tomorrows game with Manchester City is Latics defender Emmerson Boyce.

Boyce has been struck down with his second hamstring injury of the season and he has missed quite a considerable chunk of games since he suffered his original strain back in October in the 1-1 draw with Bolton.

Speaking about the fitness of his squad ahead of the City game Martinez confirmed that Boyce was the only worry, Martinez said: 'It's the second soft-tissue injury to that area Emmerson has suffered this season and so we have to be very careful how we treat him.

'Man City will probably be a little too early for him, but the following game against Birmingham City is certainly a realistic target for his return.

'Apart from that everyone is fit, available and desperate to play.'
