James McCarthy Voted Man of the Match v City
Wigan Athletic midfield man James McCarthy won the vote as Latics man of the match for his performance in the defeat to Manchester City at Eastlands.
Pollsters on Vital Latics gave the Republic of Ireland international the thumbs up for his dynamic midfield play that belittles his youth. At just 20 surely McCarthy is one of the most exciting young talent`s in the Premier League at the moment.
For the record the voting was:
James McCarthy - 26%
Antolin Alcaraz - 22%
Ben Watson - 12%
