Caldwell and McArthur Play In Defeat To Brazil

Wigan Athletic duo Gary Caldwell and James McArthur both made the starting line-up today as Scotland faced Brazil in a friendly at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Unfortunately they lost 2-0 with the Brazilians showing their superior quality, on 42 minutes Neymar opened the scoring when he was picked out by Santos in the box, the young Brazilian stroked the ball past McGregor into the far corner.

McArthur was replaced on 57 minutes by Aston Villa youngster Barry Bannan.

Neymar made it 2-0 for Brazil when he picked himself up after being floored by Charlie Adam in the box to stroke home the resultant penalty on 77 minutes.
