Gohouri Plays As Cote D'Ivoire See Off Benin
Wigan Athletic defender Steve Gohouri played the full 90 minutes as the Ivory Coast came from behind to beat Benin 2-1 in this evenings (Sunday) ACN qualifier, the game was scheduled to be held in the Ivory Coast but due to political tensions it was switched to Ghana
Benin took the lead on 27 minutes, but a brace from Chelsea striker Didier Drogba secured the points and made qualification almost a certainty for the Ivorians who sit on top of their group with 9 points, Benin are in 2nd place with 4.
