'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blackpool v Latics - Stan Has a Plan

Wigan Athletic are at Blackpool on Saturday in what is undoubtedly a massive game for both clubs, now with what`s at stake, this week is beginning to have a cup final week feel about it, excitement, anticipation and a genuine sense of belief that the game can be won.

Obviously it will be a difficult task, but the Latics fans are really revving up to give their all at Bloomfield Road in support of the lads. Vital Latics member Stan_disher put together a plan to ensure that, well we are all singing from the same sheet, personally I think it`s a great idea and one I will follow, take a look below:

1. Everyone in the ground and in their seats 20 mins before the start of the game making massive noise.

2. Everyone wearing blue & white or black

3. Everyone take a Wigan scarf

4. Absolutely massive reception when the players come onto the pitch before kick-off, time for scarf swirling (is that what it`s called)

5. Don't stop singing while the game is ongoing.

6. Win, draw or lose, massive reception for the players at the end.

and an addition from Sephton01:
7. Everyone standing up. If we could all get in the ground 20 mins early & all singing it would really set the tone. You see it every home game when 10 mins before kick off the away fans are all up singing .....how about we do it for a change? Get ready for the best away day of your life. WE ARE WIGAN !

Are we up for it? See you in the Bloomfield Road East Stand at 2:30 Saturday, 'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine`
