Vote For Your Latics Man of the Match v Blackpool

Wigan Athletic got a great win at Blackpool yesterday and it is hard to single anyone out as the star performer, they all played their part.

The defence was solid throughout, particularly Gary Caldwell who led the side magnificently, in midfield James McCarthy, Ben Watson, Tom Cleverley and Momo Diame played superbly, very comfortable on the ball, hardly wasting any possession, full of running when we didn`t have it, closing down the Blackpool players, giving them no time and making them panic in possession. Momo of course got the third goal and his all round play was excellent.

Attacking wise both Hugo and Charlie had top games, Hugo scored a great opening goal, keeping his head and firing under Gilks to give the Latics the early lead that settled any nerves, whilst Charlie was just a class act all afternoon.

Our little Frenchman was in electrifying form yesterday, every time he was on the ball the Blackpool defence looked nervous and they just couldn`t cope with his pace, skill and directness, his pass led to Hugo`s opener and he scored the second himself.

So Charles N`Zogbia is my choice as Latics man of the match against Blackpool, but who is yours? To make your choice, simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your option and then hit the submit button, it`s that easy.

I'd have to say Charlie as well. They had no answer for him.
