Wigan Athletic visited Sunderland yesterday and unfortunately left with nothing despite taking the lead with a great goal by Momo Diame.

The game was a little flat following the superb performance at Blackpool the previous week and there wasn`t too many standout performances, with a few players looking a little jaded, for me though the man of the match was between two.

Momo Diame and Ben Watson were definitely the pick of the bunch yesterday, I am going for Diame as my man of the match, in my opinion he just shaded it with his superb strike for the games opening goal.
