Lawro Predicts - Latics v Everton

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that Saturday`s Premier League clash between Wigan Athletic and Everton at the DW Stadium will end in an away win for Everton, let`s see what his reasons are:

Wigan v Everton

In all the time I've been doing this, Wigan are the hardest team to predict because they're so inconsistent - not week-to-week, but within games.

The other week they went 1-0 up at Sunderland and lost 4-2, how do you do that? Everton haven't got a great record at Wigan but they like a scrap and will never lie down. I think the way Wigan went from one up to four down tells you all you need to know about certain characters in their team.

Prediction: 1-2

Right score-line Lawro but the wrong way round, Latics 2-1 Everton

How does this guy even qualify for this prediction column every week??? So sick of hearing his 2 pennies worth. His opinion is worthless and he is a patronising, pathetic rat of a pundit!
The_belfast_latic
I can't remember one prediciton he has ever got right yet for Wigan, Mystic Meg your job is safe.

Jeez, are you lot really that confident? I am saying a 2-0 win to Everton, Arteta is included in the squad which is a big boost for us, and we are in fine form (United loss was first in 7) and well 4-2 to Sunderland really sums that up nicely
Rob-EFC
Rob all we can do is wait until saturday. I say 3-1 wigan. Do you really expect us to be expecting to lose at home to an everton side that that are mediocre at best? I'm glad your confident about beating us and I hope EFC are feeling the same because this match will come as a nasty surprise for you
