Ali Al-Habsi - Wigan Athletic Man of the Match

Ali Al-Habsi - Wigan Athletic Man of the Match

Ali Al-Habsi has been voted the Wigan Athletic man of the match for his performance between the sticks in Saturdays 1-1 draw with Everton.

Considering that Everton only had three attempts at goal I suspect the fact that Ali produced a marvellous first half penalty save may have had some influence on him winning this weeks vote.

For the record the voting was:

Ali Al-Habsi - 42%
Ben Watson - 20%
James McCarthy - 10%
