Vote For Your Latics Player Of The Month For April

The Wigan Athletic player of the month for April poll is now up and running, the Latics started the month with a goalless draw against Spurs at the DW Stadium, then faced three tough away games, the first one was lost at Chelsea 1-0, but that was followed up with a superb performance and result at Bloomfield Road against Blackpool, goals from Rodallega, N`Zogbia and Diame gave the Latics an emphatic 3-1 win.

Next up was a disappointing 4-2 defeat away at Sunderland before the month was wrapped up with a 1-1 draw against Everton last Saturday at the DW Stadium, the game featured a great Charles N`Zogbia goal and a penalty save from Ali Al-Habsi.

There have been some good performances in April, the midfield has especially played well with Diame, Watson and McCarthy very good, Alcaraz has also shone, but for me the player of the month has been Charles N`Zogbia, he has scored two great goals and been a constant threat to the opposition.

N`Zogbia in fine form

It is hard to choose between Charlie, Ali and Watson but my vote goes for Charlie mainly due to the Blackpool game
