Wigan Athletic player of the month for April as voted for by Vital Latics pollsters is midfield man Ben Watson.

Watson has been in great form of late and his role of playing just in front of the back four has really suited him. He is seeing a lot of the ball and has been very influential in the games played last month.

For the record the voting was:

Ben Watson - 40%
Ali Al-Habsi - 36%
Charles N`Zogbia - 16%
