Bernadelli in Latics Link

Wigan Athletic are being linked with a move for Argentina international midfield man Hernán Bernadelli who currently plays for Spanish club Almeria, just recently relegated from La Liga to the Segunda División

The 24 year old joined Almeria from Newells Old Boys for £2.5 million in July 2009 and has gone on to make 67 appearances for the club, the Argentine is being linked with the Latics along with his compatriot and team mate at Almeria, Pablo Piatti

Maybe just press speculation but Latics boss Roberto Martinez does like his midfield players and the highly rated Bernadelli would make a good addition to the Latics squad.

I would love to see a double swoop for these 2, it would really mean business for us, though if these 2 sign i can see McCarthy off to liverpool for 20 million or Zog on his way, but if we manage to keep all our players its gonna b one fantastic season!

Funny that we were linked with Albert Crusat all last summer who is also at Almeria. That's 3 of their midfield. Some of the best buys we've ever had though have been when clubs have been forced to sell due to financial reasons - Roy Carroll comes to mind, as does Bullard.
