The Daily Mirror are reporting that Wigan Athletic have increased their offer to £3 million for Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi after having an opening £2 million bid turned down earlier this week.
The Oman international spent last season on loan at the Latics and was such a big hit that he was named Player of the Season, it is understood that Roberto Martinez is keen to get the deal sorted as soon as possible and Al-Habsi himself is desperate to join the Latics on a permanent basis
The Mirror are reporting that the deal could be concluded over the weekend.![]()
