Liverpool Make £15 Million Bid For Charlie?

It's being reported that Liverpool have made a £15 million bid for Wigan Athletic attacking midfield man Charles N'Zogbia, they had a similar bid rejected back in January.

Liverpool have been showing interest in N'Zogbia since Dalglish's return to the Anfield hotseat at the start of the year, initially they enquired to take the France international on loan, when that was turned down they returned with a firm bid, again that was turned down as the Latics needed their talisman as the fight against relegation was intensifying.

Now with Premier League survival achieved and N'Zogbia entering the last year of his contract at the Latics, Liverpool have returned with a bid in the region of what boss Roberto Martinez is looking for to prise away his star asset.

Currently on international duty with France, Charles N'Zogbia has had a fantastic season with Wigan Athletic, he stepped up to the plate when it was needed, scoring five goals in the last six games of the season and performing at a very high level.

He's worth more but can see him going for £15m

If he did not have 1 year left he is easily worth 20mil, I think 15 mil is good for both parties and we can invest very well with an extra 15 mil! What a player Liverpool will have!

Question is who will step up to the mantle? Is Victor good enough or are there other irons in the fire?
