Lawro Predicts - Latics v Villa - Martinez

Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has cast his useless thoughts towards the situation concerning where Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez will end up, the Latics or Aston Villa. With the two vying for the Spaniards services, Lawro, as usual thinks the Latics are on a loser, let`s see what his reasons are:

Wigan v Aston Villa

Villa are a massive, massive, massive club, they have won the European Cup, just after I did, they have real fans who sing songs and there are lots of them, their ground is called Villa Park and I just love their kit, its lovely.

With Peter Withe and Darren Bent up front, Peter Schmeichel and Brad Friedel in goal and Tony Morley and Gordon Cowans and Stewart Downing in midfield they are a great team and just lovely to watch, lovely. Ashley Young maybe going but there is a young Ashley, so I am told, coming through.

Aston Villa are lovely.

Wigan on the other hand, have you seen their ground? Springfield Park needs a refit but with a capacity of 6,500 it is still too big, plus with them getting relegated at the end of last season, like I predicted, they are in free fall, I cant tell you any of their players because I haven`t been to Wigan since 1978 when my mum took me there shopping, I had my first mullet haircut on that trip at Worthington Hair.

I hate Wigan, they are crap and they are the club that Preston should have been. (Dont print that please.)

No Martinez will definitely go to Villa and I believe he is taking Dave Whelan with him as his number 2.

Well Lawro the reason you hate us so much is finally out in the open, a dodgy haircut back in 1978, full of crap all season, full of crap at the end of it. Roberto Martinez knows which side his bread is buttered on and he is staying put at the Latics, stick to backing singing Lawro.
