Latics Start Off With A Visit From The Canaries

It is fixture day. As usual thanks to the short-sightedness of the Premier League, Football League, our FA and their legal eagles at Dataco, we can`t show them.

Correct, we can`t publish the fixtures - adverts for the games we pay good money to go and see - without paying a fee which none of us can afford to pay and wouldn`t even if we could.

So... fixtures are available at the official site: link

But what we can say is, the season kicks off on August 13th with a home start against newly promoted Norwich, let`s hope we don`t get stung ala Blackpool, a week later and it is a mouth watering trip to Swansea, August is rounded off with the last of the promoted clubs, QPR visiting the DW Stadium

I always look to the end of the season and the run in, were are we going to get those points that will secure Champions League football, well the last four games look good, and with the final game of the season being at home to Wolves it could be a party atmosphere at the DW Stadium

It all starts 8 weeks tomorrow, lovely.

The promoted sides are the worst ones to face on the first day. The players have everything to prove to the premier league
