Wigan Athletic Season Ticket Sales 50% Up

Wigan Athletic Season Ticket Sales 50% Up

Wigan Athletic have experienced a dramatic rush for season tickets following the great escape at the end of the season, so much so that the sales are up 50% on the number for the same time last season.

With ticket costs frozen for the fourth year running the Latics are doing all they can to get the fans back through the turnstiles on a regular occurrence, the cost of a season ticket at the DW Stadium is one of the cheapest in the country never mind the Premier League.

To get your ticket either visit the DW Stadium in person or check out the official sites season tickets info

Speaking on the subject of ticket sales Latics boss Roberto Martinez said: 'The way we finished the 2010/11 season was down to the atmosphere our fans created, especially at the DW Stadium'

'Looking at the sales figures right now is very exciting and I hope we can reproduce that warmth at home which the players all responded so well to.

'The final call to the fans is to come together, and in true Wigan Athletic style push the team and the club forward into the next season.

'As impressive as the figures are at this point I'm sure over the coming weeks and months we'll see even more being sold.'
