Honduras Lose In Gold Cup Semi-Final

Honduras were knocked out of the CONCACAF Gold Cup last night, losing 2-0 in the semi-final against Mexico.

Two extra-time goals, Aldo De Nigris with a super header in the 93rd minute and Javier Hernandez from close range tapping home six minutes later gave Mexico the win and a place in Saturdays final against the USA.

Wigan Athletic midfield man Hendry Thomas played the full game for Honduras but the Mexicans proved too strong and had numerous chances throughout the game.
