Cant wait for the new season to start? Well get an appetiser this Friday at the Seventh Heaven event being held at the DW Stadium in the South Stand bar, meet Latics boss Roberto Martinez for a Q&A, have a chat with former players and meet up with your match day acquaintances, a good night in the offing and a good cause set to benefit.
Friday 8th July, 7.30pm till late
Doors 7pm
DW Sports Fitness Lounge, South Stand at the DW Stadium
Tickets are selling fast for this Friday`s "Seventh Heaven" Event and the club are urging supporters to buy in advance as with fewer than 100 tickets left, entry on the night cannot be guaranteed.
Roberto Martinez is set for Q&A with fans and there will also be personal appearances from many former players who will also face a grilling. With Micky Worswick and Kenny Morris, Noel Ward and Tommy Gore, Neill Rimmer, Mike Flynn and Matt Jackson all confirming their attendance for Friday`s spectacular there will be past Wigan Athletic stars from the last four decades taking part in the proceedings.
Comedian Mike Maguire offers an act with a twist - and who are we to spoil the surprise - but will certainly have the audience in stitches and the night will be completed with the unofficial Wigan Athletic band, The Empty Seats taking to the stage and blasting out their existing repertoire of Latics themed songs along with some new and exciting material.
Aside from all that the emphasis is on a fun night where Latics fans can get together and celebrate the past and the future of the club and also help with fundraising for The Anthony Ramsdale Appeal. The admission fee for this event is ONLY £5, which also includes your half time pie and programme. There will also be a raffle for some outstanding prizes including a signed caricature of the squad, hospitality tickets for 2 people for the opening day clash with Norwich City and other superb prizes.
Numbers for this event are restricted and there are only a limited number of tickets available. As stated above, these may not be available on the night so you are strongly advised to buy in advance. To reserve your tickets now please visit the DW Stadium Ticket Office, call 0871 66 33 552, or alternatively you can buy online at the Latics United website www.laticsunited.co.uk
Please note that this event is not suitable for young children and there are no concessionary rates
All guests and acts confirmed at time of going to press but may be subject to change![]()
