Charles N'Zogbia Set For Villa Move

It looks like Wigan Athletic have agreed a fee with Aston Villa for Charles N'Zogbia and the France international, who is currently in Sweden with the Latics squad, could finally be on his way to the Midlands and Alex McLeish a year after he turned him down.

N'Zogbia famously decided not to sign for McLeish whilst he was Birmingham boss last summer, but if Newcastle United manager Alan Pardews comments are anything to go by, 'I am told that Charles has got an imminent move, so I don't think that will be us.' it would appear that Charlie is about to leave the Latics and most believe that his likely destination is Villa Park.

Villa first registered their interest in the 25 year old with a 9 million bid back in June, but it would appear that they have waited until Stewart Downing's departure to Liverpool to get down to the serious discussions with Whelan and co.

Whoever gets him for the fees being quoted will be getting a bargain at todays prices, plus he is a home grown despite being French
