Wigan Athletic - Jamie Murphy Catches The Eye

According to reports in Scotland, Wigan Athletic are leading a pack of clubs eyeing up Motherwell youngster Jamie Murphy.

The 21 year old is a product of the academy at Fir Park and he has a European hat-trick under his belt, he is also Motherwell's all time leading European goalscorer. The winger broke into the Motherwell side in the 2006-07 season and has gone on to make 120 appearances scoring 16 goals.

Latics, along with Stoke, Spurs, Wolves and West Brom had scouts watching Murphy on Saturday when he scored the second goal of Motherwell's 3-0 win over Inverness in the SPL.
