Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v PNE

Wigan Athletic beat Preston North End yesterday (Sunday) in a preseason friendly, although there wasn't much at stake, bar tweaking the fitness levels and some local pride, the players put in a good showing.

Mike Pollitt played the whole game and was on top form, the one goal he conceded took a massive deflection and there wasn't anything he could do about it.

The back four were solid, Hendry Thomas just in front of them was his usual early season tigerish self, whilst Momo Diame and Jordi Gomez both had good games, David Jones also did well following his introduction to the game at half-time.

The stand out player for me though was Victor Moses, he terrorised the Preston defence every time he was on the ball, Moses set up Latics first goal after just 15 seconds with a great run, scored the second himself and put the third on a plate for Emmerson Boyce, a great cross following a well worked short corner routine with Jordi Gomez.

Moses was the Latics man of the match in my opinion, but who was yours, to vote simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your option and then hit the submit button, it's that easy

Man in form, Victor Moses
