Rodallega Out, Odemwingie In?

The Daily Mirror are reporting that Wigan Athletic striker Hugo Rodallega could be on his way to Arsenal, but Latics fans shouldn't worry, well according to the newspaper they shouldn't because West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie is the subject of firm interest and contact has been made between the Latics and the Baggies.

Arsene Wenger, say the Mirror, is a long standing admirer of Rodallega and he is apparently set to make an offer for the Colombia international who is in the last year of his current contract at the Latics.

The Mirror go on to say that West Brom sporting director, Dan Ashworth has been contacted by the Latics to register their interest in the Nigeria international forward who banged in 15 goals in his debut season at the Hawthorns.

West Brom have signed Reading striker Sean Long for 6.5 million this week and with chairman Jeremy Peace being well known for his thriftyness maybe a deal could be in the offing. Though I can't see the Latics paying what West Brom would want for Odemwingie.

We need a versitile player who can play up top and on the wing but not to replace Hugo.

Odemwingie to Wigan, nah cant see that, almost as unlikely as Rodallega to Arsenal

Can't see it myself - both players will stay with their current clubs. Arsenal need defenders not more attacking players
