Meeting Some Swansea Fans

Meeting Some Swansea Fans

A new feature on Vital Latics throughout this season, as suggested by Vital member Stan_disher, will hopefully be getting the views of a 'few' of the opposition fans on Wigan Athletic, so with a visit to the Liberty Stadium next up for the Latics, it was time to meet some Swansea City fans.

So with seven simple questions posed let`s take a look at the responses:

1. How long have you supported Swansea City?

2. Who is your best player?

3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player?

4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic?

5. What do you think the score will be?

6. What do you think will be your final league position?

7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position?

Swan_Lady2
1. A very long time (over 45years)
2. Scott Sinclair
3. Hugo Rodallega
4. Small club with rich owner
5. 2-1 to Swans
6. 16th
7. 17th

deaframbo
1 - long time too (about 45 years since my dad first took me to Vetch when I was about 5 years old)
2 - Scott Sinclair - without new additions
3 - Hugo Rodallega (how we would love to have him in our side)
4 - punching above its weight
5 - 2-0 to us
6 - 15th
7 - 19th

swanjackal
1. 27 years since first game.
2. Nathan Dyer for me, if only he had an end product. Favourite: Sir Alan Tate.
3. James McCarthy looks handy (and the usual Rodallega, although he may not be there much longer if rumours are true).
4. Shaky and inconsistent.
5. 2-1 Swansea
6. 17th
7. 20th

bohana34
1. 35 years.
2. Tough one, but purely based on sentimentality - Alan Curtis. Always wanted to be him when we played a game of Wembley. Current player, that would be Nathan Dyer
3. Do they have one. LOL. Rodallega ( or something like that )
4. Great advert for how small clubs can survive the big time. Not too hot on their style of play, and I'm disappointed with the small support you have for home games. Nice stadium though.
5. I think Wigan have a better team this year. Drawn game.
6. 16th
7. 17th or 15th. I don`t think you'll be relegated.

SwanPaul
1 Over 30 years
2 Scott Sinclair
3 Hugo Rodallega
4 Small fish in big pond, crowds are a worry for you
5 2 1 to the Swans
6 16th
7 18th
It`ll be a tough game.

Thank you very much for your time and efforts, good luck for the rest of the season.

Dan's Big Game Report - Burton 0 Latics 2

Alright, so despite the hammyteur Twitter meteorologists' predictions, it never did snow in Burton upon Trent today.

But on Friday morning, the Met Office (presumably a wild new joint venture of the Metro newspaper and the Post Office) issued 'yellow warnings' of ice in Staffordshire. From this we can only assume that the county`s dog walkers embarked upon an unprecedented mass figure skating session producing gold medals you certainly don't want in your hands.

Oh, disregard
