'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vote For Your Wigan Athletic Player Of The Month

Wigan Athletic have started the new season in good form, following on from the end of last season the Latics remain undefeated with two draws and a win so far this campaign.

Although a little sluggish in the season's opener against Norwich, performances have picked up and the team are playing with much more of a buzz. Away at Swansea the Latics were a little unfortunate not to claim all three points, an excellent penalty save by Swans keeper Michel Vorm and a couple of chances that went begging kept the scores level at 0-0.

The QPR game saw the Latics hit their stride, Rodallega back in the side from the start brought some balance to the team, Di Santo with two cracking goals looked a real handful and the midfield and defence were very good.

Star performers so far for me have been Ben Watson, Maynor Figueroa and Franco Di Santo, I know which of those three I'll be voting for in the 'Player of the Month' poll, but who will be your choice?

To participate in the vote, simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it's that easy

A good start to the new campaign
