Player Of The Month For August - Jordi Gomez

The Wigan Athletic player of the month for August, voted for by Vital Latics members is Jordi Gomez.
Latics have made a decent start to the season and Gomez has played in all three of the opening games putting in some good performances especially in the win over QPR at the DW Stadium. The former Espanyol man appears to enjoy early season games and he had a bit of a purple patch during the early stages of last season.
For the record the voting was:
Jordi Gomez - 41%
Franco Di Santo - 18%
Victor Moses - 11%
