A regular feature on Vital Latics throughout this season, we will hopefully be getting the views of a 'few' of the opposition fans on Wigan Athletic, so with a visit to the Eastlands Stadium next up for the Latics, it was time to meet some Manchester City fans.
So with seven simple questions posed let`s take a look at the responses:
1. How long have you supported City?
2. Who is your best player?
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player?
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic?
5. What do you think the score will be?
6. What do you think will be your final league position?
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position?

1. Since I was 4, so 12 years.
2. Silva.
3. I haven't seen much of Wigan this season, but last season I would say N'Zogbia?
4. Not so sure to be honest, my perception is probably marred as I knew a Wigan fan who never ceased to take cheap digs at City back when we were mediocre.
5. Sorry to take the mick but I'm expecting a Swansea-type rout at home, 4-0.
6. First or second.
7. Mid table this season, 11th.

1. How long have you supported City?
Full time for the past 4 years (I'm an American born and raised, so the coverage has only just increased over the past 5 years), but I've been a fan since my uncle by marriage introduced me to the team 15 years ago.
2. Who is your best player?
David Silva. His pace and passing is usually overlooked by the pundits, but without him in the squad the team isn't nearly as creative going forward.
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player? - Gary Caldwell.
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic?
I like the team better now that Steve Bruce left and Roberto Martinez was brought in.
5. What do you think the score on Saturday will be? - I think City win 3-0
6. What do you think will be your final league position? - I honestly believe we can win the title.
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position? - If they can stay healthy, probably 9th or 10th.

1) Forty f-ing years. Need a break, maybe something non league.
2) Silva
3) Sorry but I don't know any of your players.
4) Stoical, kit reminds me of Porto's. Got a casino. And a pier.
5) You'll probably shade it 2-1
6) Second.
7) Bottom or thereabouts? Really have no idea, sorry.
I realise I probably look like I don't give a monkeys about Wigan, and that is true but then I couldn't give a stuff about most teams. I understand you have a decent manager (in both senses) and well done to him for showing some loyalty to the club. You'll probably beat us because we have the shoot ourselves in the foot gene. Good luck for the rest of the season.

1. 4th premier league season.
2. Silva
3. Rodallega (sp)
4. Big fan of Martinez because he actually plays football. Still nowhere near enough talent to compete in the top half of the league.
5. 3-0 City
6. 1st
7. 14th
BlueBilly
1. For as long as I can remember.
2. David Silva.
3. Victor Moses has had a great start to the season, I'm also a fan of James McCarthy.
4. A well run club who play good football and have a great young manager. But I still think of Wigan as a Rugby town.
5. 3-1 City.
6. 2nd.
7. 14th.

1. How long have you supported City? - 21 years (since I was 10)
2. Who is your best player? - David Silva
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player? - Ali Al Habsi
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic? - Hit and Miss, inconsistent, beatable
5. What do you think the score on Saturday will be? - 2-0 City
6. What do you think will be your final league position? - 1st/2nd/3rd
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position? - 13th
citymantop
1. How long have you supported City? - First game attended 1974 so 37 years
2. Who is your best player? - David Silva, very intelligent player
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player? - Figueroa
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic? - Stoke-like, not in a derogatory meaning. You blow hot and cold but can always cause an upset. In other words you can be a tricky opponent.
5. What do you think the score on Saturday will be? - 5-0 City, I would have said 8-0 the only reason it will only be 5 is because Bobby Manc will have an eye on the game midweek v Napoli and will try shuffling squad a bit to keep them fresh.
6. What do you think will be your final league position? - 1st
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position? - 9th I think a lot of teams who are usually around there are going to struggle this season ie Everton, Spuds, Villa and it will be up to your manager to motivate and try different players in different positions but only after this Saturday

1. How long have you supported City? -Since 1991 when I came to Manchester University - season ticket since 1992
2. Who is your best player? - Has to be David Silva
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player? - Really rate James McCarthy
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic? - A club that is struggling to compete with rugby for fans in a small catchment area. Great run in the PL despite having very little money though, and have been to the JJB (Sorry, DW!) a couple of times and the atmosphere is pretty good.
5. What do you think the score on Saturday will be? - City to win by at least 2 goals, Wigan might score without NDJ - call it 3-1?
6. What do you think will be your final league position? - 1st place - the rags aren't as good as everyone seems to think.
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position? - 14th -15th place, with no threat of relegation - Norwich, Swansea, Blackburn, QPR and even Everton will probably finish below Wigan.

1. How long have you supported City? 1969 mostly in pain
2. Who is your best player? Love Silva but will go for Kompany
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player? Caldwell
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic? Saw them beat city 4 or 5 years 1-0 ago at Eastlands on a stopover from Australia. Temp -1c. Dreadful game . Samaras did a hammy. Dont think you have improved much but do very well on limited budget. Good spirit hopefully will see you survive.
5. What do you think the score on Saturday will be? 3-0
6. What do you think will be your final league position? First- Taggarts young players will not last the season. Bunch of pussies.
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position? 1 spot above the dreaded drop- Congratulations in advance!

1. How long have you supported City? - 57 years (a few highs and many lows)
2. Who is your best player? - David Silva (makes the whole team tick)
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player? - Victor Moses (a good young talent who you will have to sell in the next couple of years)
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic? - My home town for the first 7 years of my life but will always be in the shadow of Wigan RLFC. Hate DW but I think you have a great young manager.
5. What do you think the score on Saturday will be? - Sorry mate but 3-0 to City.
6. What do you think will be your final league position? - 2nd (don't think we are the finished article yet)
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position? - 16th ( a few worse teams than Wigan in the PL).

4, a decent club but forever in the rugby shadows

StuMCFC
1. Around 18 years, basically since my mind was able to form a rebellious attitude against my family that support United and tried to indoctrinate me the same way most do. Fail!
2. David Silva but Kun Aguero has as much talent but has only just started his City career.
3. James McCarthy
4. My perception is that Martinez has turned them into a good footballing side who don't hide behind rugby tactics and hard men like so many struggling sides do. I think it is nearly a miracle though that Wigan have lasted this long in the Premier League given that it is more of a rugby town so doesn't produce massive matchday revenue to help sign players with.
5. 2-0 City.
6. 2nd.
7. 17th.
Thank you very much for the fantastic response![]()
