Ali Al-Habsi - Latics Best Premier League Keeper




Ali Al-Habsi has been voted the best Latics goalkeeper of the Premier League era by members of Vital Wigan.

Taking 64% of the vote Ali is clearly the fans favourite, his performances last season were superb and he`s started the current campaign in a similar mode

For the record the voting was:

Ali Al-Habsi - 64%
John Filan - 23%
Chris Kirkland - 9%
Mike Pollitt - 4%

I cannot believe Kirkland only got 9% - he was a superb keeper (during his better years between 2007-2009ish) and is not that much worse than Ali. Ali does deserve to win tho I must admit
