Meeting Some Everton Fans

Meeting Some Everton Fans

A regular feature on Vital Latics throughout this season, we will hopefully be getting the views of a 'few' of the opposition fans on Wigan Athletic, so with a visit to the Goodison Park next up for the Latics, it was time to meet some Everton fans.

So with seven simple questions posed let's take a look at the responses:

1. How long have you supported Everton?
2. Who is your best player?
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player?
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic?
5. What do you think the score will be?
6. What do you think will be your final league position?
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position?

Bez the blue
1. 26 years
2. Leighton Baines
3. James McCarthy
4. Respect for the fact that you have maintained your Premier League status, good away day
5. 2-1 to the blues, they must play better than the same fixture last season though as we were woeful
6. 7th
7. 12/13th

EvertonMike
1. Too long.
2. Fellaini
3. Rodallega (Although I watch Wigan maybe 5 times a season at most, so I'm not the best judge really)
4. If you don't have anything nice to say...
5. 3-0 Everton if we score early, if we're drawing/losing at half time though we won't go on and win it.
6. 7th-10th. Would be lower except the quality of the league is so dreadful after the top 5 or 6.
7. 18th. And that's being generous. But I've been expecting you to go down every season since you came up, and you've proved me wrong so far.

Everton_77
1. As long as i can remember
2. Baines
3. Since N'Zogbia is gone, James McCarthy is your top player
4. Good manager, likeable club, weak squad
5. 2-0 to us
6. 8th
7. Either 17th or 18th. Weakest squad you've had in a while, but you always suprise me

ToffeeBlue
1. 37yrs, 27 as a season ticket holder
2. Fellaini
3. Rodallega
4. The Warriors lesser cousin
5. 3-1 Toffees
6. 8th
7. 15th

Thanks very much to the Everton fans for their views, good luck for the rest of the season, after Saturday of course

Unbeleivable comments. Everton will be below us this season and may even go down. Their squad is not as good as ours. Liverpools poor relations, while we are the dominant force in Wigan with the worriers a poor second

Do Wigan fans generally believe you have a better squad than us? Or is he just the local idiot?

Dan's Big Game Report - Burton 0 Latics 2

Alright, so despite the hammyteur Twitter meteorologists' predictions, it never did snow in Burton upon Trent today.

But on Friday morning, the Met Office (presumably a wild new joint venture of the Metro newspaper and the Post Office) issued 'yellow warnings' of ice in Staffordshire. From this we can only assume that the county`s dog walkers embarked upon an unprecedented mass figure skating session producing gold medals you certainly don't want in your hands.

Oh, disregard
