The Footie Fans Favourite Pie - Have Your Say

Its half-time, the hunger pangs have started, the tummy has been rumbling for the past 45 minutes, you nip down to the concourse, join the queue at the refreshment booth, you get to the front and say "can I have a pie please", the attendant looks at you quizzically and retorts "what kind mate?"

Panic sets in, what kind of pie do you really want? What`s on offer?

The three most available pastry treats in my experience, on my adventures around England to footie grounds both near and far are, the meat and potato, the steak and the chicken balti.

Now being a Wiganer some may find this sacrilege, but my preferred choice, on a Saturday afternoon at around 3:50 is undoubtedly the Chicken Balti, I don`t know what it is about a football ground and a Chicken Balti pie, but that`s my favourite.

What I`d like to know is what everyone else likes to munch on at the game, there is a poll on the right side of this page attempting to get to the bottom of this quandary and find the footie fans favourite pie.

To participate in the vote simply access the poll, select your favourite from those available and then hit the submit button, its that easy.

Chicken Balti every time for me so long as they are available, they seem so exotic!
