Meeting Some Wolves Fans - Wigan Athletic

Meeting Some Wolves Fans - Wigan Athletic

A regular feature on Vital Latics throughout this season, we will hopefully be getting the views of a 'few' of the opposition fans on Wigan Athletic, so with a visit to the Molineux next up for the Latics, it was time to meet some Wolves fans.

So with seven simple questions posed let's take a look at the responses:

1. How long have you supported Wolves?
2. Who is your best player?
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player?
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic?
5. What do you think the score will be?
6. What do you think will be your final league position?

Akela
1. Couldn't possibly answer that without giving away my age!
2. In terms of skill I think it has to be Jamie O'Hara, especially at set-pieces he just has that extra bit of quality about him.
3. I think Shaun Maloney could turn into a very good player for you, he always looked good for Celtic but obviously it's a bit of a step up from Scotland to England.
4. I don't really have one other than the fact that you don't really come across as a football town and your attendances always seem to be a bit low. Have to wonder where you would be without the money from DW.
5. We will go on to win 2-1.
6. Above the bottom three, but not sure by how much right now!
7. In the bottom three, possible dead last unfortunately for you chaps.

RustMonkey
1. About 35 years since my first game...I'm 42
2. On his day...I'd say O'Hara but for me Hunt.
3. Hugo Rodallega causes us problems
4. Struggling....like us
5. I think we'll sneak it but could be a doozy....4-3
6. I'll take 17th now but i think maybe 15th
7. Sorry but on present form........Relegated. I can think of three I`d rather see go down but I have to be honest.

SUPERSPARKES
1. Roughly 37 years, blimey how the time fly`s when your having fun!!!
2. I think that Jamie O'Hara is on his day, but I am impressed by Stephen Ward
3. Not really sure, don't look too hard at other teams!
4. A side that will struggle for support but have a very loyal set of fans and owner. And a very good manager.
5. I will stick my neck out for a 2-0 win for us
6. I think that 16th is what we need to be aiming for now
7. Sorry guys but I think that you will go down. Thanks for putting this on our board though, and good luck for the rest of the season.

Thanks very much for your answers, good luck for the season, after Sunday of course
