Speaking after the game Redmond spoke about his goal, the game and the suqad: "The ball came to me on my weaker side, so I got it out of my feet and decided to swing for it, thankfully it found the top corner"

"I was at Everton for ten years or so as a kid so to get the winner against them was an extra special feeling.

"The games against Liverpool and Everton are always big games because a lot of our lads started their careers there, and it's always a great occasion for us to play against them, especially when we get the win."

"The squad feels nice and strong this season with plenty of options to choose from, so Graham and Dennis (Lawrence) have got some tough decisions to make for each game and we have to keep making that tough for them by working hard every day on the training pitch.

"All the lads have been working hard together this season, and we've been focusing a lot on our attacking and defensive duties.

Good to see Sammon and the rest get a run out

Its a run out in the first team they want. If Rodellega and Di Santo came from Platt Bridge they would not get into the squad never mind the team. Martinez is a joke.
