Wigan Athletic Eye Up Macheda Move



Wigan Athletic are being linked with a loan move for Manchester United striker Federico Macheda in the January window.

The Latics have struggled to score goals this season and it could be that boss Roberto Martinez has identified the 20 year old Italy youth international as the man to step up to the task, Macheda has scored eight goals for United in 25 appearances since making his debut in 2008, he was the subject of reported interest from Newcastle United in the summer.
