'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Meeting Some Arsenal Fans

A regular feature on Vital Latics throughout this season, we will hopefully be getting the views of a 'few' of the opposition fans on Wigan Athletic, so with a visit to the DW Stadium on Saturday for Arsenal for the big Premier League clash, it was time to meet some Gooners.

So with seven simple questions posed let's take a look at the responses:

1. How long have you supported Arsenal?
2. Who is your best player?
3. Who do you think is Wigan's best player?
4. What is your perception of Wigan Athletic?
5. What do you think the score will be?
6. What do you think will be your final league position?
7. What do you think will be Wigan's final league position?

No 10
1. Since the '89 season from the age of 8
2. RvP is the 'best' player, but Song is one of the most important players. Ramsey & Wilshere will be massive for us in years to come and develop into two of the best players in the PL.
3. I like the look of Crusat for you and I hope that Moses can develop from the promise he once showed.
4. Sorry but I think you guys are in trouble. Your manager is a nice guy and you have had some bad luck/poor decisions that may even out in the new year but I fear the worst for you.
5. I'll stick my neck out and say 1-3
6. 3rd behind Man U and Citeh
7. Above Blackburn but below everyone else

codchops
1. Since 1985
2. Have to say RVP but for the team Song and Vermaelen are also very important..
3. Hugo Rodallega. Hasn't really got going yet this season but he has a good eye for goal.
4. I like the fact that you try to play football the right way and don't resort to 'route one'/'park the bus' tactics.
5. I hope it will be a solid 1-3.
6. 4th. City 1st, Utd 2nd, Sp*rs 3rd. I know I'm going to get shot down for that!!!
7. Unfortunately I think you'll be in the bottom 3. Above Blackburn but I just feel that the clubs above you have stronger squads. Having said that, the league is very close and two wins takes you to mid table at the moment so you never know.

hughied
1. Since 2007/8 - seriously. Before that closely followed the Club along with others since the Vieira/Henry/Pires era.
2. RvP by some distance atm. Wilshere in last season's form next, tied with Song, Vermaelan and Szcezza. 3. McCarthy looked good a season or two ago. Al Habsi does a good job in difficult circumstances. Credit to the club for developing good footballers like Valencia, Palacios, Rodallega and rejuvenating N`Zogbia.
4. Football first philosophy under the current manager. A clean team that tries to win based on its football rather than by parking the bus. An underrated developing ground for unheralded talent.
5. 1-2
6. 3rd after City and T*ttenham. Liverpool 4th. The "big 2" to play Europa League next season.
7. 18th. 17th w luck. Ahead of Blackburn, Wolves.

Thanks very much for your answers, if you`re coming up for the game, have a safe journey
