Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v West Brom

On Saturday Latics made it two consecutive wins on the road as they beat West Brom 2-1 with a stunning Victor Moses goal and a Jordi Gomez penalty, there were good performances throughout the side as Martinez's men shook off the disappointment of the Arsenal defeat a week earlier to come from behind to grab all the points.

Ali had a good game between the sticks, though his best save of the game came in the opening two minutes, the defence was resolute, Alcaraz made an assured return following his suspension, Caldwell was much steadier with the Paraguay international by his side and the Latics skipper put his body on the line more than once.

The midfield was excellent, Diame, McCarthy and Gomez all doing their bit in a highly entertaining game. Gomez scored the penalty that gave the Latics the win, making it three goals in the last four games for the in form Spaniard.

Up front both Sammon and Moses worked tirelessly, but for me Moses was easily the Latics most potent threat, he scored a cracking equalising goal, went on a mazy run before being up ended for the penalty and caused the West Brom defence problems all afternoon with his pace, power, skill and directness, a great performance.

So Moses for me, but who was your Latics man of the match? To participate in the vote simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it's that easy
