Happy 21st Birthday Victor Moses

Wigan Athletic striker Victor Moses is 21 today (Monday), happy birthday Vic, he gave himself a great early present on Saturday, he scored his first goal of the season to equalise Steven Reid's opener and set the Latics up to go onto record a great away win, Jordi Gomes slotted home a 57th minute penalty after Moses had been felled in the area to seal the points.

Moses is undoubtedly a special talent, he has pace and skill in abundance and he carries the Latics most potent attacking threat this season. With 55 appearances for the Latics since making the switch north from Crystal Palace in January 2010, Moses is clocking up the experience, but, as with any youngster he can be a little frustrating at times as he learns the game, he is though an exciting player to watch.

An ever present this term, Vic may have knocked home is first goal of the season on Saturday, though it wasn't for the want of trying, 46 attempts at goal place our 'special one' at the top of the Premier League players shot chart and as the old adage goes: you won't win the raffle if you don't buy a ticket

Latics boss Roberto Martinez is delighted that Moses is off the mark this season and hopes that it is the start of more to come, Martinez said: "Victor turns 21 on Monday so what a fantastic birthday present for himself, hopefully now he'll take that confidence into the rest of the campaign."

So carry on doing what you're doing Vic, frightening the opposition to death, oh and have a happy 21st birthday, any chance of celebrating with another goal on Saturday?

Happy Birthday Vic
