Lawro Predicts - Latics v Chelsea

Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson has done his weekly round of Premier League predictions for the BBC, the Match of the Day pundit is forecasting that Saturdays Premier League clash between Wigan Athletic and Chelsea at the DW Stadium will end in an away win, let's take a look at his reasons:

Wigan v Chelsea

I'm afraid Wigan won't get anything out of this game. They had a great win last weekend against West Brom but their results at home have been poor with teams going to the DW Stadium and winning comfortably.

Chelsea are on a good run now and manager Andre Villas-Boas looks like he is winning his little battle at the club to change their playing style and personnel.

He has said Fernando Torres is not for sale, but the Spaniard is just not the same player anymore.

The evidence suggests he can't do the things he used to be able to do at Liverpool. The touch just isn't there, but that comes with confidence.

Prediction: 0-3

It will be a tough game no doubt, but I am hoping we can get something, so, 1-1 for me.
